All our translations are supplied by professional translators who have experience of translating texts in the given field. We guarantee accuracy of the meaning and grammar of each translation. If your translation is designated for presentation purposes or for printing, you can additionally order subsequent proofreading and correction for a surcharge. This is performed by experienced proofreaders who are native speakers of the relevant language, who proofread and correct the text, particularly in terms of style.

Types of translation

Regular translations

By regular translations we mean non-certified translations of all texts (with the exception of highly technical texts) with a standard completion deadline (approx. 7 standard pages or 1700 words per translator within 24 hours). Non-certified translations are compiled by thematically suitable translators in the given language combination.

Certified translations

Certified (official, court) translations or translations with a court clause are translations compiled by translators appointed by the relevant court. A clause of the court translator is attached to each certified translation, and the translation is bound together with the original document or a notarised copy thereof, usually with a special, tricolour twine. A translation with a court clause differs from a regular translation in that it carries legal force in countries where the official language is either the language of the original or the translated text.

Express translations

Express translations are non-certified and certified translations of any texts, compiled on the same day or within such a deadline that a single translator has to work at a greater speed than 7 standard pages or 1700 over the course of 24 hours.

Technical translations

We consider a translation to be technical if it falls within the category of the natural sciences or a closely specified field (e.g. physics, mathematics, chemistry, medicine etc.). We do not consider translations of legal texts (e.g. contracts) or regular technical text (e.g. construction documentation or machinery instruction manuals) to constitute technical translations.

Translations using CAT tools

CAT tools are used in situations where it is necessary to unify the terminology in the translation of all texts from a single customer and where greater speed of translation is required. The most widely used CAT tool (Czech tool for translation support) is the TRADOS program, which our company owns a multilicence for. This program enables several translators to work on a translation from a single client simultaneously. The translators involved make use of a common translation memory and dictionary of terms. The program can recognise identical, already translated text and automatically insert it into the new translation. Translators then translate only the new part of the text and only have to check the remaining, already translated text automatically inserted by the program. This saves the customer a great deal of time and financial resources, because proofreading an already translated text is cheaper than a translation of a new text.
This method of translation is suitable in particular for software or technical documentation where the text frequently repeats itself. If your texts are appropriate for translation using CAT tools, send us your translation memory and dictionary of terms, and we can start producing translations for you using this method.

Translations of DVDs and CDs

In addition to standard written texts we also perform translations of texts from various data carriers, e.g. DVD, CD etc.

Company dictionary

Should you so wish, our translators can use your company dictionary for all of your translations, thus using the same terminology you have used previously. Simply send us your dictionary of terms.
